ALISON JOAN PISTAWKA (nee WESTMAN) Peacefully, at her residence, on August 20, 2001, Alison Joan Pistawka, aged 47 years of Gimli. Left to mourn her passing is her husband Brian; parents, Robert and Elspeth Westman of B.C.; brother Randy (Wanda) of Petersfield; and sister Roberta of B.C. She also leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Linda (Eugene) Feschuk; brothers-in-law Dennis (Leslie) of Winnipeg, and Roy (Francis) of Thunder Bay. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and many friends, especially Marie. Alison was a quiet person who spent much of her spare time with her "second family" at Kriss Fish and Chips. She will be deeply missed by us all. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home, in Gimli, on Thursday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor George Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the J.M.H. Building Fund. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
