REGINALD ALBERT KING It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Reginald Albert King on August 21, 2001 at the Grace General Hospital. Reg was born July 21, 1930 in North Augusta, ON. He was one of nine children born to Roy and Lola King. He married Mildred Harris on January 27, 1954 in Winnipeg, after returning from the Korean War. Together they raised their family of three in St. Boniface. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife Mildred; daughter and son-in-law Diane and Len Sul; his sons, James and Brian; as well as the lights of his life, his granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Anna. He is also survived by his siblings, Bolton (Doreen), Doris (Glen), Keith (Marion), Irene (Jack), and Marie (Bob) as well as many wonderful nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents; his sister Edith; and brothers, Alan and Charlie. Funeral services will be held at the St. Philips Anglican Church, corner of Tache and Eugene, on Friday, August 24 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Gordon Shields officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff of Grace General Hospital, 4th floor, for the compassionate care given to Dad and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of choice.
