LeJOHN (1934 - 2001) The LeJohn family regrets to announce the sudden death of Dr. Herbert Beola LeJohn ON July 25, 2001, of natural causes. A professor of medical genetics and micro- biology at the University of Manitoba for the past 35 years, Dr. LeJohn made an outstanding contribution to the fields of science and medicine in the areas of cancer research and hereditary diseases. Renowned in his field, well respected and well loved, he will be deeply missed by his family, Stella, Tenji, Inka, Tunji and Mica LeJohn. A memorial service was held in Vancouver, BC, on August 14, 2001. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
