Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMIL LUDWIG SCHUETZ The family of Emil Schuetz are saddened to announce his passing August 20, 2001 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Emil was born February 5, 1906 in GroB Paprotsch, Poland, one of 12 children of Rudolph and Auguste Schuetz. He was raised and worked on the family farm, with a year long interruption in 1916, when the family was sent to Russia. Married in 1934, Emil continued to work as a farmer until the Second World War. Although Emil experienced many hardships, he always continued to walk with courage and a deep faith. In 1949, he immigrated to Canada, where he worked for Winnipeg Supply for 17 years and Cold Steam for five years before retiring. Emil was predeceased by his wife Amanda Schuetz, and son-in-law Allan Yorke. Left to mourn his passing are daughters, Lydia (Theodor) Manthey and Ingrid Yorke. Five grandchildren, Angela (Bob) Douglas, Debbie (Mike) Klepatz, Ronald Manthey, Katherine (John) Milton, Richard (Pam) Yorke; five great-grandchildren, Nicole, Alicia, Lauren, Matthew and Samantha. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Green Acres Funeral Home on Friday, August 24, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Heimo Bachmeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Schuetzs memory may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut St. or to a charity of choice. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
