MARGUERITE SCHULTHEIS (nee KIRK) It is with sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite (Peggy) Schultheis, who passed peacefully after a brief illness and with her family by her side at Victoria General Hospital on Tuesday, August 21, 2001, at the age of 82. Peggy will be sadly missed by her children, Marie Carrington, Ruth (Chuck) Ross, Wilfred (Netta Faye) Schultheis; and her grandchildren, Carolyn, Kathleen, Graeme, Annie, Cheryl, Evan and Mason. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Francis Kirk; her husband Wilfred; and her brother Frank; and half-sister Mary. Born in Vancouver, BC Peggy lived most of her life in St. Vital, where she spent many years working for the St. Vital School Division, and the VON. In her latter years, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She will also be missed by her friends at 60 Chesterfield, where she resided for the past 15 years. Thank you to the compassionate staff at Victoria General Hospital, notably Dr. Salem, and nurses Monique and Wendy, for their care and support. A service of remembrance will take place on Friday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave., with Rev. Nancy Sanders officiating.
