Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GEORGE SHYMKO It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, brother-in-law, and Uncle Bobby, on Tuesday, August 21, 2001. Born February 2, 1944 in Teulon, MB. Robert received his education at Light School, then started farming with his Dad and brothers. He then started working with Manitoba Public Works - Water Control. Later on moved to Winnipeg and worked at Co-Op Implements until the plant closed. For the past number of years Robert had been farming with his brother Ken. Robert enjoyed visiting with family and friends discussing farming, haying equipment, vehicles and his pets. He especially enjoyed his visits with Mike and his family in Winnipeg and their cottage in Beausejour and enjoyed BBQs with his nieces. He enjoyed working on the garden, making dills and often had Ken doing a garden chore with him. Friday supper was chicken from Chicken Chef. He was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Catherine, and his brother Harold. A quiet, gentle, thoughtful man with a sense of humour, he leaves to remember him his sister Adeline (Joe) Kozak of Calgary; brothers, Jim, Ken and Leonard (Dianna) nephews, Ron (Allison) and Greg Kozak; nieces, Tanyse and Jolene Shymko. Prayer service Friday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Funeral service Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, with Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Burial at the Komarno Holy Trinity Cemetery. Pallbearers: Greg Kozak, Clement Hryciw, Peter Soloznyczy, Michael Anthony, Walter Bodnarus, Gary Michaluk. If friends or family so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB or the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. Robert, you will be missed and remembered by your family. MacKenzie Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
