ELIZABETH (REBECK) STEFANIUK December 14, 1910 - August 22, 2001 Peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, August 22, 2001, Elizabeth passed away at the Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her first husband Paul Rebeck and her second husband Alex Stefaniuk; her daughter Vicki, son-in-law Mike and grandson Billy; and three sisters, Mary, Rose and Elsie. She leaves to mourn one daughter Marian Fotiuk; three sons, Carl (Ethel), Len (Lucille), and Doug (Fran) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her earlier years, Mom had a real passion for gardening. Her grandchildren and family will always remember the many special meals she prepared. No one ever came close to making it just like Mom. At Christmas, family and carolling were dear to her heart. We will miss Mom and Baba dearly. The family would like to thank Dr. A. Kong and the staff on N1 Ward at Concordia Hospital for the care they gave our Mom. Prayers will be held on Friday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 11:00 a.m., also at the chapel, with Rev. Fr. Bob Kennaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Rick and Paul Fotiuk, Nick Klassen, Dean Nahuliuk, Barry Rebeck and John Cychowski. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Elizabeths memory to St. Nicholas Church, 5635 Henderson Hwy., RR 3, St. Clement, MB R3C 2E7. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
