ROSAIRE (ROSIE) TRUDEAU Suddenly and peacefully after a short illness, Rosaire, aged 76 years, passed away at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Felix and Marie Trudeau; one son Kenneth Ross Trudeau; one sister Martine; three brothers, Ted, Roger, and Lionel. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Glenn (Cara) and Dwight (Lana) one daughter Debra (Edward Pankratz) his pride and joy three granddaughters, Shawna and Ashley Trudeau, Leah Pankratz. He also leaves three brothers, Jean, Norbert, and Michel; three sisters, Marielle, Yolande, and Julie. Dad was employed with Molson Breweries for 38 years and retired in 1989. He was a loving, caring man who was always giving to others. He was high spirited and known for his unique laugh. Rosie was a dedicated member of the Church and a faithful diner at Smittys Restaurant for the brunches which followed. Rosie loved the outdoors and was always extremely active. He enjoyed learning various languages, crossword puzzles, lottery tickets, parliament channel, and attending family gatherings. But most of all his one passion was loving and supporting his three granddaughters, who truly were the light of his life. Rosie will be sadly missed by all but we will not say goodbye, instead austa la vista until we meet again. We love you. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25 in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave., with Rev. Terance P. McGrath presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Tobin Rostosky, Curtis Hayden, Marcel Trudeau, Colin Mayer, Chris Sim, and Walter Pankratz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
