SHIRLEY AILEEN SELLEN (MAIN) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Nana, and great-grandma on Wednesday, August 22, 2001, at the age of 78 years. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Gloria (Einar) and Sandra; son Larry (Maureen) grandchildren, Shane (Colleen), Heather, Breanne and Reid; as well as her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kyra and Bret. Shirley will be fondly remembered by brother Kelvin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Mary, John and Velma, Andrew and Olive, Bob and Marjoe, George and Donna, John and Evelyn, Esther, Frances and Helen. She was predeceased by her loving husband Doug just three short months ago; parents, Bill and Merle Main; brothers, Keith and Merlin; and sister Margaret; mother and father-in-law Elizabeth and Bob Sellen; sisters-in-law, Irene, Dorothy, Lynn, Mary; and brothers-in-law, Raymond and Robert. Mom was a very loving, thoughtful and caring person. Her children were fortunate to have a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed her knitting and crocheting and going for coffee with her many friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 9:30 a.m., in the Oakbank Baptist Church, 4655 Springfield Rd., Oakbank, with Pastor Jim Zurbriggen officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the charity of ones choice. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
