Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) COOK Bill passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on Thursday, August 23, 2001 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife Alda in 1991; parents, Melina and William; brother Ernie; sisters, Ivy, Ethel, Lorraine, and Edith. He will be remembered by daughters, Valdine (Mort) Corrin and Elaine James; sisters, Leona Gibbons, Lil (Cliff) Leach of Calgary, Doris Poole; and brother Jim (Doreen) of Edmonton; and very special friend Helen Yakimiw. Also remembered by grandchildren, Debra (Norm) Fancey of Oshawa, Brad Corrin of Aurora, Blair (Val) Corrin and great-grandchildren, Taryn, Ashlyn and Shawn; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill spent most of his life in the Weston area having worked at the CPR Weston Shops for over 40 years. He was a 50 year member of the Brooklands/Weston Legion and also a member of the German Club where he loved to dance. Special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks, 5th Floor, Units 3 and 4 for the care and compassion shown to Bill. At Bills request no service will be held.
