JAMES (JIM) BELDING It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Jim Belding, peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 21, 2001. Jim is survived by his loving wife Lynne; his three caring daughters, Stacey, Patricia and Erica; his devoted mother Patricia; brothers, Greg, Gary and sister Jan, all of Fredericton, NB; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was predeceased by his dad Gerald (Bud) Belding. Jim was born in Saint John, NB, attended school in Fredericton, including the University of New Brunswick, and graduated from the University of Winnipeg. Next to his love for his family, Jim loved acting and directing with theatrical groups in Winnipeg and Fredericton. Theatre and the interaction with fellow professionals were very special to him. In recent years, Jim returned to his love of radio broadcasting and was a founding member of Atlantic Canadas only specialty station for seniors, "Freedom 50 Radio." After 17 years of service, Jim retired from the Federal Government in Fredericton. Jim was also involved in a number of business ventures. Jim enjoyed his time with friends and family on the golf courses of New Brunswick and Manitoba. Jim was politically active throughout his life. He was a staunch supporter of the Liberal Party of Canada on both provincial and federal levels. He was recognized by the Liberal Party for his hard work and significant contributions. What Jim enjoyed most in life was the time he spent with his wife and best friend in life, Lynne. Jim will be deeply missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, on Tuesday, August 28 at 3:00 p.m. A celebration of Jims life will be held in Fredericton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8 would be most appre-ciated. A special thank you is extended to Const. Lynn Latozke of the Winnipeg Police Service for his outstanding support in our time of need. Loved, Missed and Respected by All - "The Family" NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
