GLADYS COULTER Peacefully, at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, Gladys Coulter passed away, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Coulter; brothers, Ernie White, Fred White, and Jack White; and her sister Phyllis Martinson. Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Joanne Coulter (Grant Ma) of New York, Roberta Coulter of Winnipeg, and Janice Coulter of Kamloops; grandson Jason Coulter of Vancouver; sister Nora Sheppard of Montreal; brother Stan White of Glenboro; sister-in-law Mary Plumton; brother-in-law Jim Ogston, both of Winnipeg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from St. Boniface School of Nursing in 1939. Prior to her retirement in 1979, she worked at the Tache Nursing home for 20 years. Gladys lived with her daughter and grandson in Kamloops from 1979 to 1984 then returned to Winnipeg and resided at the Villa Cabrini where she made many close friends. Her friends were especially important to Gladys and she appreciated peoples assistance to her and helped others where ever possible. Friends wishing, may make memorial donations to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, 276 Hugo St. N., Winnipeg, MB R3M 2N6, or to a charity of ones choice. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of the Convalescent Home. Their care and concern for Gladys and her family was greatly appreciated. A private family interment will take place.
