ARTHUR C. DON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Don, 79 years of age, of Langley, BC, formerly of Winnipeg, on August 3, 2001. Art was predeceased by his sisters, Joan Trenholm and Margaret Andrews earlier this year. He is survived by his children, Ray (Lola), Lyn (Larry) Steingart, Jim (Wendy) and Sherri (John) Maggs. He will be dearly missed by his his grandchildren, April, Laura (Marc) and Paco. Art is also survived by his brother Bob (Lillian) and his brother-in-law Bob and their children, Arlene, Doug and Deb. Art served in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War and on his return joined Winnipeg Hydro, underground division, where he retired after 38 years as a supervisor. He enjoyed watching sports on T.V. and spending time at the beaches, parks, Paddy and Muriel Lakes. A memorial service was held August 8, 2001 in Langley, BC. Should friends so desire, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
