I miss Glenn all of the time. I knew him in Winnipeg and in Mannheim. We shared delight in music and stories. He was always very kind. He was deeply loved by his friends. - Posted by: Karen Peters (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2025

Since year I would like to get in touch with my former english teacher from Mannheim Glenn Haagensen. He reached my improving my english over almost 2 years taking classes with him in my office on wednesdays and on saturdays 8-12 in the morning ... we lost contact after I moved to Frankfurt and I tried many times to get in touch ... he told me that he wanted to go back to Winnipeg where he came from .... Now I found this page and I'm shocked ! Can't believe what I'm reading and I wish it is a mistake/confusion .... In any case my more than sincere regret for this lost and R.I.P I have such lovely memories of my brilliant teacher...we had so much fun ...was not easy at all to teach me as I only wanted to improve my conversation capabilities ... so we talked manly about my life and my job ... so that he became a nice friend almost able to be my deputy in the office ... now many years later...by the way I succeeded in my career getting even a global responsibility (thanks Glenn!) I'm getting pre-retired and I have been thinking so many times that without his help I would have never been able to be where I am . THANKS GLENN ! - Posted by: Alfonso Marin (English student of Glenn Haagensen in Mannheim 1998-1999) on: Aug 21, 2016
