EDWARD HERZOG June 1927 - August 2001 With his wife by his side, Ed passed away at Victoria Hospital after a lengthy illness. Left to cherish his memory and mourn his passing are Linda, his loving wife of 48 years; daughter Valerie; son Clarence; daughter-in-law Jill; grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, Jessie, Kelly; and sister-in-law Peggy and family of Toronto, ON. He was predeceased by his precious granddaughter Kristie Herzog; son-in-law Walter; brother Arthur; father Henry; mother Katherine; and step-mother Lydia. Ed is remembered as a dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, and a good friend to many. Ed worked at Boeing of Canada for over 20 years until his retirement in 1992. Beyond his family interests, Ed enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially with a fishing rod in his hands. He was an avid reader and baseball fan and enjoyed a friendly game of pool with his pals at Delta Manor Apartments. Heartfelt thanks to all the compassionate and professional caregivers who attended to the needs of Ed in his final months. Special thanks to Dr. Donnelly for his unfailing dedication and skill. A private family service and interment was held on August 24, and was officiated by Rev. Karl Koslowsky. Dear Lord, hold our Grandpa in your tender care, Comfort him for all he suffered And love him as we did when he was here. Sadly missed and always in our hearts. We will always love you.
