Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA YOLANDA (YOLLY) LIWANAG Entered into eternal rest peacefully, after a sudden illness on Thursday, August 23, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB, Maria Yolanda (Yolly) Liwanag, aged 35 years, dearly beloved mother of Jimmy Lee and Christopher James, and loving girlfriend of Robert (Rob) Lipps. Besides her sons, Jimmy and Christopher, and her boyfriend Rob, Yollys memory will be forever cherished by her sisters and brothers, Gely (Manding), Danny (Tess), Joven (Cora), Lita, Willy (Sandra), Glo (Fraser), and their respective families of Winnipeg, MB, Canada, Larry, Clarita, Carmen, and their respective families of The Philippines, as well as her godmother Leticia, and Yollys numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. Yolly was predeceased by her father Guillermo, mother Dominica, and her eldest brother Generoso; also her grandparents. She was born on Sunday, March 20, 1966 in Manila, The Philippines, and immigrated to Canada, and was employed at Bristol Aerospace and Canada Post. Yolly enjoyed entertaining, cooking, and especially enjoyed being with her two boys, and Rob, and her entire family. Yolly was a proud Mom to her two boys, Jimmy Lee and Christopher James, and she will be very sadly missed by both of them. Lamay will be held on Friday, August 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Prayers at 8:30 p.m.) and Saturday, September 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Prayers at 9:00 p.m.) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 4 at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., with Monsignor Maurice Comeault P.H., V.F., presiding. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. West. Yolly, we will all miss you, very, very much.
