Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE MOAR 1923 - 2001 Peacefully, on Thursday, August 23, 2001 with his children and family by his side, dad passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by two sons, Melvin and Emile; and one daughter Margaret; his parents, Mary and Alex Moar; sister Alice; brothers, Johnie, Renie and Stanley. Lawrence will be sadly missed by his loving companion Doreen. Dad and Mary Ranville (our mother) had eight children together. He will be remembered by his son Dennis (Lynn) Moar of Edmonton, AB; daughters, Joanne (Murray) Jameson of Winnipeg, Pauline (Paul) Peters of Winnipeg, Marlene (Mike) Kotyk of Winnipeg, and Alice of Killarney; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Dad also leaves to mourn his two loving sisters, Bessie (Lucien) Page of Cayer, MB and Maggie (Phillip) Smith of Rorkton, MB; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital doctors and nurses and a special thank you to Delina Smith. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 27 at 1:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel. 1442 Main St. Ash interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
