Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANASTASIA SLOBODIAN 1903 - 2001 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear mother Anastasia (Nellie) Slobodian at the Grace Hospital, August 23, 2001. She leaves to mourn her sons, Bill, John, Albert (Barb), Jim and David (Yvette) her daughters, Jean (Mike), Ada (El) ten grand- children and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Sam, infant son Edward, son Michael, daughter-in-law Teena, three sisters and two brothers. Mom was born in Ethelbert, Manitoba in 1903 and later moved with her family to a farm in Saskatchewan. She married in 1922 and they farmed for 42 years and retired to Kamsack in 1964. After fathers death, mother moved to Winnipeg where she resided at St. Johns Haven for 12 years. Her faith carried her through the storm of life. She stressed the importance of religion being practiced in the home, for this we are all thankful. She was a very proud and caring mother sharing all her wisdom with us. We love you Mom and may you have eternal rest.
