VIOLET H. HARRIS Peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2001, Violet Harris passed away at Oakview Place at the age of 89 years. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Lorne and partner David, Gordon and Donna; all of Winnipeg and Burt and Bev of Halifax. There are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother Robert Harrod of Moose Jaw, SK. and several nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Harrod; sisters, Maude and Dorothy; brothers, Bill, Albert and Fred and Bert in infancy. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. The family wish to thank the staff of Oakview Place for their continued care for the past five years and to Home Care workers who cared for her from 1991 until 1996.
