ED LABOSSIERE September 6, 1933 - August 26, 2001 Ed passed away on August 26, 2001 on the Palliative Care Ward of the St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67 years old. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Pat; daughters, Cathy, Susan (George) and Grace-Ann (Larry) and one granddaughter and seven grandsons; sister Mildred; brothers, Wilf, Rich (Lydia), Gerry, Norm (Doreen), Gord (Claire), and Bob (Judy). He was predeceased by his parents, Philias and Violet. Ed was self-employed in the courier business for the past 20 years and prior to that had worked for Domtar. He was a happy-go-lucky guy who was always there for you. He loved a simple life, fishing, curling, landscaping and making concrete lawn ornaments. He was a member of the St. Boniface Curling Club. Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care ward of St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Ed in his last weeks. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Emiles Church, 556 St. Annes Rd.
