KARNAIL SINGH 1914- 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of dear Father and grandfather S. Karnail Singh (Brar) on Saturday morning, August 25, 2001 at Health Science Centre at 87 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sham Kaur; his sons, Gurcharan Singh Brar (Sukhwinder) of India, Pritam Singh Brar (Pritam) of Winnipeg, Gorbhai Singh Brar (Mohinder) of Calgary; his daughters, Binder Kaur Bains and her husband Sukdev Singh Bains, Nasib Kaur and her husband Jagroop Singh; grandsons, granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Karnail was born in India and lived there, coming to Canada in April, 1976 and settled in Winnipeg. He was very active in the community. Karnail was two time President of the Sikh Society of Manitoba. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 30 at 4:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. and religious services will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Sikh Society of Manitoba, 1244 Mollard Rd.
