Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER WOYTOWICH Peacefully on August 26, 2001 Alexander Woytowich passed away after a short two month stay at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 82. Alexander was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Helena Woytowich and his father-in-law Nick Prokop. Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Mary Woytowich; daughters, Gloria Heft (Len), Joan Gautron (Gilles) and grandson Brian Gautron. Brothers, Paul Woytowich (Anne) and Bill Woytowich (Isobel) and sister Ann Raichuk (John). Mother-in-law Theresa Prokop; numerous brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Alexander was born in Poland on December 3, 1918, he arrived in Canada in 1939, farmed in Arborg, MB and later moved to Winnipeg in 1967 where he worked at Bristol Aerospace until his retirement at the age of 65 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors as well as with friends and family. Pallbearers will be Len Heft, Gilles Gautron, Edward Kemash, Stanley Prokop, Steve Prokop, Tony Prokop. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home who looked after Alexander during his stay there. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Wednesday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church at 250 Jefferson Ave. with Fr. Boris Kyba C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family would request that donations be made in Alexanders name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
