Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPENNY SCHULTIESS After a lengthy illness and a courageous battle with cancer, Penny Schultiess passed away on Monday, August 27, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 55 years. Penny Louise Schultiess was born May 28, 1946, the daughter of Molly and Jack Schultiess. She attended school in Winnipeg and upon graduation worked as a secretary for the Armed Forces and later she became a Reservations Agent with Canadian Airlines where she remained until her death. During her career with Canadian Airlines, Penny travelled the world meeting and making many new friends. She was a very cheerful person. Penny never complained during her illness but fought bravely to maintain her life. No one will forget her smile. Penny leaves to mourn her mother Molly, 86, of Winnipeg; her brother John, wife Jean, and daughters, Elizabeth and Katherine of Sarnia; brother Rob, wife Glory, daughter Samantha and her husband Joe Sirtonski of Winnipeg; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Through her whole ordeal, she was comforted and strengthened by her very close friend Pat Barrett of Winnipeg who has also been a great comfort to the family. She was predeceased by her father Jack. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at Springs of Living Water Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd. Penny was very fond of her brother Robs dogs, Fiona and Scooter, and her niece Samanthas dog Copper.
