TOSIE DONG December 9, 1963 - August 28, 2001 It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Tosie Dong. Tosie had succumbed to fatal car injuries at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, August 28, 2001. She leaves behind her loving mother Joyce; sisters, Lily, Sally, Rose; and brother Bill. Tosie was a loving aunt to her four nieces, Amy, Allyson, Mindy, Kristy) two nephews, Stephen, Micheal; and sister-in-law to Dwight, Alfred, and Rick. Tosie had attained her Bachelors Degree, Post Baccalaureate Certificate, and Masters Degree in Education from the University of Manitoba. She had spent several years teaching at Chief Peguis Junior High School. Tosie was as unique as her name. She loved the theatre, to travel, and her warm personality was always open to new experiences. She took great pleasure in teaching her nieces, nephews, and students. In her short life span, she has left countless memories resulting from her wit and humour. She has left our family with a void, which will never be filled. Tosie will surely be missed, never forgotten, and forever loved by her friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31 at 2:00 p.m., from the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital of Winnipeg Research Foundation, 117 - 685 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0Z2.
