Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATHILDE RENEE FERNANDE STURGEON (nee FRANKARD) Mathilde Sturgeon passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2001 in Virden, MB. Mathilde was predeceased by her parents, Gustave 1973 and Marguerite Frankard 1952; husband Lloyd Sturgeon 1970; brother Camille 1997; stepdaughters, Norma Disson, and Thelma Jackson 2000; stepson Bill Disson; brother-in-law Ralph Sanborn 2001; niece Diana Shea 2001; stepgrandson Gary Disson; and great-stepgrandson Michael Disson. She will be lovingly remembered by sister Bertha Sanborn, brother Edward (Verella) Frankard, sister-in-law Genevieve Frankard, stepdaughter Rosemary Kennedy, stepson Lloyd Sturgeon, many cousins, nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tillie was very good hearted and good natured. She always looked on the bright side and never complained. Her family was most important to her. She was extremely generous, donating to many causes for adults, children and animals, as well as the N.D.P. party. In her early adult life she taught school for three years. Later on she worked in the garment industry. She was a skilled petit-point craftsperson spending hundreds of hours on many, many pictures which she gave to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. According to her wishes, there will be no service. Those who wish, may send a donation to a charity of their choice.
