ANNETTE EDITH HARRISON (nee GALAN) Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 29, 2001 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Annette passed away. Annette was predeceased by her mother Nettie Galan. She will be lovingly remembered by Roy, her husband of 59 years; her son Todd, wife Gail; and granddaughters, Lisa and Andrea; her daughter Beryl Harrison; and daughter Sandra Radclyffe, husband Bob, and granddaughters, Lauren, Carly, and Amanda. Also left to remember her are her sisters, Mary Kuzuchar of Dauphin, MB and Rose Macdonnel (Art) of Canoga Park, CA.; nieces and nephews; many friends and neighbours and dear friend Joyce Bashucky. Annettes greatest joys were watching her grandchildren grow up, and growing her garden from scratch each spring. The family enjoyed many good times together at their first summer place at Dauphin lake and from 1968 - 1999 at their cottage at Caddy Lake in the Whiteshell. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pat Harris and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Grace Hospital, and Home Care staff for their care and compassion towards Annette. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Grace General Hospital, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7. Respecting Annettes wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
