CESAR ALFEROS FILOMENO "He shall receive in the world to come eternal life." - Mark 10:30 Peacefully, on Thursday, August 30, 2001, Cesar Alferos Filomeno, aged 70 years, entered into eternal rest at the Concordia General Hospital, dearly beloved husband of Emelita, and cherished father of Richard and Roland. Cesars memory will also be forever cherished by his mother, three sisters and three brothers, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was born on Thursday, February 12, 1931 in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1974. He was a loving and caring husband and father who will be forever loved and remembered in the hearts of all who knew him. The most unselfish and compassionate of souls, his everlasting love will be eternally with us. Lamay will be held on Friday, September 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, with prayers at 9:00 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gerards Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster St. at Talbot Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Pierre Wood, O.F.M., Cap., presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Filomeno family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the family and friends who have stood by and comforted us during this, one of the saddest times of our lives.
