MARGARET KATHLEEN KNELSON (nee WOODS) Peacefully and with dignity, with her family by her side, Margaret Knelson passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on August 30, 2001. She was born February 12, 1924 in Winnipegs North End attending William Whyte and Isaac Newton High School. Margaret worked at McColl-Frontenac, British American Oil, Gulf, and then Petro-Canada until her retirement. She was predeceased by her husband Hank Knelson in 1993; her parents, Ellen and Frank Woods; her sister Joyce; and her brothers, Edward and James. Margaret is survived by her sister Nellie Abel; her sister-in-law Betty Woods and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and two great-great-nieces. Margaret will also be missed by her little friend "Cricket". She loved being "Auntie Margaret" to her many nieces and nephews, and family gatherings were her favourite times of the year. She particularly enjoyed her recent trips to Florida celebrating special family times. Auntie Margaret will be lovingly remembered by all of her family, and her laughter will be greatly missed.
