MICHAEL "MIKE" CORNELL After a lengthy and courageous battle Mike passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on August 30, 2001, with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Katherine and his mother June Cornell; four children, Shawn, Darren Babiak, Teresa Clement, Jeremy (Danielle) Clement; three grandchildren, Amanda, Amber and Trevor. He also leaves one brother Stuart (Judy) one sister Kathryn (Ed) many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Gerald. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. We wish to express our thanks to all the dedicated and caring doctors and nurses on GD6 and MICU with special thanks to Doctors, Kim Wiebe, Joyce Sanchez and Tunji Fatoye. Mike hey I`am really sorry to this happened so long a go I guess we take are friends for granted and look what happens boy mike we sure had a really good time with you mike and stew , I still think about the time we had that the three of us where out at back end of dogtooth . ya know mike you where like a bother to me and your bother stew . your mom and where so good to me which made me feel so comfortable and well body it was good time I`ll miss still mike God Bless .
