Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH LOUIS ALEXANDER GREGOIRE Peacefully on August 31, 2001 Joe, devoted husband of Mary passed away. He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 59 years; daughters, Joanne (Russell) Hart, Betty Furutani, Lynda Holden; son Bill (Laurel) grandchildren, Danny, Cathy, Janet, Diane, Christine, Lisa, Shauna, Tara, Gary and Dana as well as many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Helen King, Yvonne Dunn, and brother Bernard Gregoire. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Joseph Gregoire; and his brothers, Louis and Marcel. Joe was born in St. Boniface August 5, 1916 where he grew up. He served in the Second World War and was an entrepreneur of many sorts. Joe was an avid gardener, famous for his tomatoes and spent many hours in his wine cellar creating his world famous chokecherry wine. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Thank you to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their kindness in the care of our father. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, MB Division, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
