Meghan, Aiden and Erin; stepson Colin Wilkinson; stepdaughter Collette (Wayne) Wilson; stepson Chris Wilkinson and Nicole Barnabe; and stepdaughter Catherine (Michael) Fountain and children, Hannah, Benjamin and Zackary. Bob is also mourned by his sisters, Adrienne Payette, Fern Espenell and Lauraine Lea and brothers, Hector (Cecile) Bahuaud, Herve (Lorraine) Bahuaud; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Ferdinand and Bernadette Bahuaud, brother Bertrand Bahuaud, brother Roland Bahuaud, infant sisters, Lauraine Henriette Bahuaud and Henriette Marie Rose Bahuaud, infant brother Gerard Bahuaud and granddaughter Lynn Bahuaud. Bob will be remembered by all as a hardworking man devoted to his family. His occupation as an airframe mechanic and welder led him to several interesting jobs including the Air Force (with four years overseas), Saunders Aircraft, Perimeter Airline, Bristol Aerospace and Air Canada, from where he retired. Bob enjoyed many years with his family in Gimli, Manitoba, and even after moving to Winnipeg in 1981, he and his family spent many happy summers at the "schoolhouse" in Sandy Hook. Bob was an avid sportsman, ready to tackle any challenge, but in particular, hockey, waterskiing, downhill skiing and badminton. We will be comforted by our memories of his mischievous sense of humour, his infectious laugh and beautiful smile, by his boundless energy, love of children, his shy teasing and love of life. We miss you. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 6, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Father Alain Piche will officiate. Interment to follow at a later date. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Tache Centre for their compassionate care, and to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital Emergency Reassessment Unit and 6A Medicine for their care and support. Special thanks also to Dr. Gabriel for her support and guidance during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Mantoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
