SIDNEY MALLIN On September 2, 2001 at Beacon Hill Lodge, 190 Fort St., Winnipeg, Sidney Mallin, aged 85 years, widower of Margaret Mallin, who passed away in 1986. Sid was a loving, generous husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed. Sidney was predeceased by his wife Margaret and two brothers, Joel and Jack. He leaves to mourn his passing his two sons, David and John (Cindy) of Winnipeg; his three daughters, Patricia (Hugh) Turnbell and Kate Roed of Winnipeg and Bridget Mallin of Vancouver; his seven grandchildren, Beth Allyson, Tamara, Leah, Kevin, Michael and Leanne; his five great-grandchildren; his sister Gertie Bell of Winnipeg; and his brother Hy Mallin of Vancouver; other relatives and friends. Sidney was a plumbing and heating contractor for many years and he owned Airguard Control of Manitoba until his retirement in 1989. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their caring for Sidney.
