Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ANDRE ARGUIN Born on December 8, 1923. Passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2001. Beloved husband of 41 years to Ann Trach-Arguin. Predeceased by his father Joseph; mother Marie; brothers, Armand, Ernest and Lionel; sisters, Beatrice, Blanche and Lydia; mother-in-law Dolly Trach. Survived by three sisters, Lillian Mailhot, Rachel (Henri) Alarie and Yvonne Rodrigue; sisters-in-law, Helen Arguin, Mary (Nick) Scraba and Pat Sundahl; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dearly loved pets, Squire and Milady. Andre served in the R.C.A.F. in the Second World War and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion No. 239, Pender Island Lions Club and Pender Island Golf Club. Andre worked in Winnipeg, MB, for Imperial Roadways Ltd. for 28 years as a controller. A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Anglican Church, Pender Island, at a later date. A heart of gold stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Leaves and flowers may wither, Golden sun may set. But the heart that loved so dearly, Are the ones that wont forget. Be free, be strong, be proud of who you have been, Know that you will be mourned and missed, That no one can replace you, That you have loved and are to be loved.
