DARLENE CRAIG It is with deep regret we announce the untimely passing of Darlene Craig (nee Howie) on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Darlene will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched. She leaves to mourn her husband Ken; son Jody; stepchildren, Kimberly, Cindy and Kalen; parents, Bill and Terry Howie; mother-in-law Clara Craig; brother Rick (Sharon) Leclair; sisters, Debbie (David) Shnider, Susan (Rick) Hildebrand; brothers-in-law, Bill (Heather) Craig, Jim (Marilyn) Craig, Les (Cathy) Craig; sister-in-law Diane Moore; nieces and nephews, Tracy, Renee and Danielle Leclair, Andrea and Vincent Howie, Brett Shnider, Samantha and Allison Hildebrand, Dena Craig, Wanda Robertson, Robert Craig, Erin and Michael Craig; special friend since childhood Joanne Sarna (nee Legge) and Darlenes "Dream Dog" Jake. Darlene was one of those special people who always saw the positive in everyone. She made everyone happy, and always put others ahead of herself. Her pure, unselfish love filled our lives with joy. We love her, and will miss her more than words can express. A celebration of life will take place in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Friday, September 7, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darlenes memory may be made to Childrens Wish Foundation of Canada.
