RETA M. EDWARDS (nee MONTGOMERY) Peacefully, and with her family at her side, our beloved mother, Reta Edwards, passed away at Vista Park Lodge Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2001. She was born May 11, 1906 in Thessalon, ON. Reta was predeceased by her husband Cecil; mother and father, Florence and Guy Montgomery; sister Irene; brothers, Raymond, Joseph and Roy. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Ione (Mike) Chaban and son Gerald (Margaret) Edwards; grandchildren, Michelle (Terry) Isaryk, Terry (Debbie) Edwards, Gary (Cheryl) Edwards and Cheryl (Jim) Cooke; nine great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Moms greatest joy was her family and friends and the opportunity to love and help them in every way. Respecting Retas wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place with interment in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
