Nee a Dunrea, MB le 23 juin 1909, fille de Alexandre Boulet et de Virginie Pelchat. Elle epousa Wilfrid Fortier en 1927, a Swan Lake, MB, et a vecu sur la terre familiale a Dunrea jusquen 1956, lors de leur demenagement a Winnipeg. Clara laisse dans le deuil, neuf enfants, Norbert (Alice), Helene Hayek (Tony), Armand (Rose), Gilles (Marie-Paule), Clement (Yvonne), Cecile, m.o., Hank (Adythe), Roseline OBrien (Bill), Maurice (Michelle) quatre soeurs et quatre freres; 50 petits enfants et un grand nombre darriere petits enfants, neveux, nieces et amis/es. Clara est precedee dans la mort par son mari Wilfrid Fortier, trois enfants, Alice Boulet, Anna Turczak et Maurice Sr., ainsi quune soeur et trois freres. Les prieres auront lieu jeudi, le 6 septembre a 7:00 p.m. a la chapelle du salon funeraire de Green Acres No. 1 est Green Acres Lane. La messe des funerailles sera celebrees vendredi, le septembre 7 e 10:30 a.m. a lEglise du Precieux-Sang, 200 rue Kenny. Lenterrement suivra la reception, au Green Acres Memorial Gardens. La famille remercie le Dr. Erhardt et le personnel de 6E de lHopital de St Boniface pour leurs soins compatissants. CLARA FORTIER Peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2001, Clara passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 92 years. She was born at Dunrea, MB on June 23, 1909, daughter of Alexandre Boulet and Virginie Pelchat. In 1927 she was married in Swan Lake, MB to Wilfrid Fortier and lived on the family farm in Dunrea until 1956, when she moved to Winnipeg. Clara leaves to mourn nine children, Norbert (Alice), Helene Hayek (Tony), Armand (Rose), Gilles (Marie-Paule), Clement (Yvonne), Cecile, m.o., Hank (Adythe), Roseline OBrien (Bill), Maurice (Michelle) four sisters and four brothers. She is also survived by over 50 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Clara was predeceased by her husband Wilfrid; one sister; three brothers; and three children, Alice Boulet, Anna Turczak and Maurice Sr. Prayers will be said on Thursday, September 6 at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 7 at 10:30 a.m. in Precieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. Interment will follow the reception at the Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
