GEORGE GOWRYLUK Peacefully with his family by his side, George Gowryluk passed away at Middlechurch Nursing Home on September 3, 2001. He was predeceased by his wife Julie, whom he adored and never stopped missing, on January 24, 1970. George was born in Ashfield, MB March 25, 1913 where he grew up. George spent eight years on the Dew Line. On returning to Winnipeg he opened his own business, but his greatest joy and how he will always be remembered by family and friends was by working on their cars anytime, anywhere. George loved nothing better than a cup of coffee and a good debate. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Dave, Terry and Bob; daughters-in-law, Wendy and Joyce; grandchildren, Jessica, Kellie, Travis, Sandra and Tracey. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Saturday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Middlechurch Home for their special care and compassion.
