Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WILLIAM ZABARYLO August 5, 1921 - September 2, 2001 Tragically, on Sunday, September 2, 2001, John Zabarylo, beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Graham), passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by one daughter Linda; three sons, Steve (Peggy), John (Rita) and Thomas (Patricia) four grandchildren, Michael, Darryl, Christopher and Michelle (Michael) two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Sydney. He also leaves to mourn one sister Stella (Al) Perrin; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Michael and sister Mary Morris. John was born in Giroux Lake, ON and served in the R.C.A.F. from 1941 to 1945 as an aircraft mechanic. He trained in Canada and then served overseas in Britain and Italy in #6 Bomber Command. On his return he married Kathleen on December 6, 1945 in Rexton, NB and then settled in Winnipeg, raising their family. He retired after working 20 years for the Bank of Montreal. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Health Sciences Centre and especially the paramedics and ambulance staff. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns memory to a charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
