ALICE ETHEL GALL (DOUGHERTY) I
Date of Passing: Sep 05, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE ETHEL GALL (nee DOUGHERTY) I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1 Peacefully on Wednesday September 5, 2001 Alice went into the arms of the Lord. She will be sadly and lovingly missed by her husband of 53 years, Douglas; children, Veronica (Al) Cormier, Stacey and Darcie, Ed (Val) Gall, Heather and Sean, Rebecca (Stu) Thompson, Colleen (Ray), Stefan and Kevin, Claudia (Henry) Hueging, Ryan, Darcy, Karl, Michael, Darrell and Evan; also many nieces and nephews. Mom loved life, family picnics and camping. She taught us the importance of family, took great joy in her children and grandchildren and gave us many fond memories of fun times and get-togethers. Growing up she spent many happy hours in Haliburton whittling with her Uncle Oliver, whom she spoke of often. Special thanks to Drs. A. Kaufman and M. West, nurses, Gail, Debbie, Lisa, Kate and staff of A3 for their care and compassion through a most difficult time. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Kilcona Park Alliance Church, North East corner of McIvor and Lagmodiere, with Ken Johnston officiating. A light lunch to follow with interment at Little Britain Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ed Gall, Al Cormier, Stu, Stephan and Kevin Thompson and Henry Hueging. The Lord is my Shepherd.. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Kilcona Park Alliance Church. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
