Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER ALBERT (BUD) HARDWICK It is with deep sadness, we mourn the sudden passing of Bud Hardwick, aged 77 years, of Selkirk, on Monday, September 3, 2001 at his residence. Bud was a very generous and caring person who leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 53 years, Dolly; one son Bob (Wanda) six daughters, Marion (Eugene), Ingrid (Dan), Dena (Wayne), Darlene (Ian), Kay (Bruce), Heather (Ryan) one brother Jack; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and especially his precious Jana. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mabel; brother Bob; sister Kay (Mitch) nephew John; and sister-in-law Ruth. Bud was born on August 8, 1924, in Lockport, MB. He worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills for 41 years and served his country during the Second World War with the navy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, with Rev. Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ryan Orvis, Devon Orvis, Robert Hardwick Jr., Roy Hardwick, Connor Grieve and Walter Zarichney. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of ones choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
