HUNG LA Peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2001 at the Burnaby General Hospital, in Burnaby, BC Hung La, aged 51 years passed away. He will be remembered and missed by his wife, Muoi The Ly; his son, Alex Chi Cuong La; his daughters, Janice Thunga La and Linda La, all of Burnaby, BC; his three brothers, An Hung La and his wife, Trieu Thao, of Winnipeg, Felix Van Hung La of New York, and Dong La and his wife, Mee Wang of Toronto; his five sisters, Kien Sanh La of Vietnam, Tran Ngoc La and her husband, Chuck Wong, of New York, Mai Ngoc La of Winnipeg, Tam Ngoc La and her husband, Cuong Du, of Vancouver, and Karen Yen Ngoc La and her husband, Stephen Young, of Toronto; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Mr. La was born in Saigon, Vietnam, on May 25, 1950. He resided in Winnipeg for many years before moving to Burnaby. Mr. La has recently achieved his high school diploma and was planning further studies. He was caring, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Funeral service was held at the Roselawn Funeral Chapels at 1669 E. Broadway, Vancouver, BC, Thursday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. Youll always be in our hearts. We love you Daddy!
