GIL (GIB) HOULE Gilbert Houle passed away quietly on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Palliative Care, at the age of 63 years. Gibs memory will be forever cherished by his wife Leona; his only daughter Debbie Stefishen (Larry) his two sons, David, and Denis; and his grandchildren, Janyce and Jason, all of whom he treasured. His memory will also be treasured by his mother Agnes; sister Annette; brothers, Rene, Maurice (Janet), John, and their respective families; many other relatives including a large family of in-laws. Gilbert was a trucker most of his working days, leaving to retire early due to ill health. His happiest times were spent at his "Home away from Home", in Libau, MB, where he and the family enjoyed the great outdoors. A service celebrating Gibs life will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m., Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Service will terminate at the chapel.
