JULIE PATNER It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Patner at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2001, at age 89 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph; her parents, William and Lena; her brother Johnny; and her sister Mrs. Stella Halas. Julie leaves to cherish her memory many nieces and nephews and friends at the Maples Personal Care Home. Julie was born in Winnipeg, attended Norquay School, and worked at Eatons for many years before retiring. Julie and her husband enjoyed many happy years. Although a private person, she often socialized with family and friends. She read tea leaves around our family table as we sat in awe. She was always good fun at outings. Julie always had a strong faith in God and she and Joe attended mass at St. Marys Cathedral for many years. In the early years she had a special closeness to her niece Angie Halas. She like travelling. Funeral service and Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg. Viewing one-half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
