MILDRED R. WORRELL February 3, 1913 - September 5, 2001 Mildred passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at the Kildonan Personal Care Home, with her sons by her side, at the age of 88 years. Mildred was predeceased by her grandson Richie Stoute. She is survived by her sons, Edwin and his wife Joyce and Colvin and his wife June; grandchildren, Jocelyn and her husband Kenneth, Leslie and step grandson Kirt; six great-grandchildren; nephews, Decourcey, Balfour and Oliver; cousins, Eurelia, Varena Worrell and family, Elsie and Coral King. Mildred came from Boston, MA to Winnipeg to be with her son Colvin. A member of the West End Gospel Hall Church, she had loved to sing and going to church until her illness. Many thanks to Dr. Dirks and the nursing staff of the second floor at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Pallbearers will be Eurelia Worrell, Edwin Worrell, Colvin Worrell, Kirt White, Leo White and Stephen Parker. Friends may call at West End Gospel Hall, 492 Victor St. for viewing on Sunday, September 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Monday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
