EDWARD BERKOWSKI Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 5, 2001, Edward Berkowski passed away at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty; children, Gerry (Andrea), Ron and Brenda Zastre (Paul) daughter-in-law Judy Brown; grandchildren, Joanna, Laura and Kyle; brother Bob; sisters, Elsie and Clara; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Vincenty and Antonina; brothers, Steve, Ralph and Ted and sisters, Mary, Olean and Verna. Edward was born in Gypsumville in 1916 and was an upholsterer for many years before retiring in 1982. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing at Dauphin River and regular visits to his sister-in-laws property in Komarno. In compliance with Edwards wishes, there will be no formal service. Our family wishes to express many thanks to the staff of the ICU at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Edwards memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
