GEORGE JOSEPH SIMMONS (BREMNER) After a lengthy illness, George Joseph Simmons died at the age of 52 years on Friday, August 31, 2001, at his residence in Winnipeg. He is survived by his daughter Lacey Simmons, Winnipeg; his siblings, Lynda Wilson (Leonard), Gimli, MB, Gerald Bremner (Tracy and Jordan), Bridget Lawrie (Edward, Jordan and Shelby), Winnipeg, and Brian Bremner, Vancouver, BC; Georges ex-wife Dawn, stepchildren, Jamie, Cassie and Nicholas; foster brother Stephen; as well as numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gloria and Donald Bremner. A celebration of Georges life will be announced at a later date.
