Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JOSEPH SIMMONS (BREMNER) After a lengthy illness, George Joseph Simmons died at the age of 52 years on Friday, August 31, 2001, at his residence in Winnipeg. He is survived by his daughter Lacey Simmons, Winnipeg; his siblings, Lynda Wilson (Leonard), Gimli, MB, Gerald Bremner (Tracy and Jordan), Bridget Lawrie (Edward, Jordan and Shelby), Winnipeg, and Brian Bremner, Vancouver, BC; Georges ex-wife Dawn, stepchildren, Jamie, Cassie and Nicholas; foster brother Stephen; as well as numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gloria and Donald Bremner. A celebration of Georges life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of cards or flowers, donations in Georges memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Winnipeg (Schizophrenia Research), 2-836 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 0C2 or to the Union Gospel Mission (Soup Kitchen Program), Box 1073, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2X4.
