Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER GRANT 1901 -2001 On September 5, 2001, Alex slipped away to be with his beloved family, including his wife Stella (1998) and sister Betty (1999).He was a gentle man who lived a gentle life. Alex was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1901 and after his parents died young, he was brought up by grandparents, aunts and uncles. Alex and his sister Betty came to Canada as children, in the care of their Granny Tulloch. Alexs love of history was well known and he would always have a wonderful story for anyone willing to listen. He will be sorely missed by Helen (Bill), Barbara (David), Ian (Maureen), Stan (Jean), Margeurite, Jean, nieces and nephews, Christine and Giovanni, John and Wendy. Go with God, Alex. Thank you for your love and trust. Donations may be made in memory of Alex to Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home, 577 St. Annes Rd., in support of their work. Sincere thanks to everyone at Meadowood for their complete care, respect and compassion for Alex.
