Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDR. HOWARD KAPLAN On September 11, 2001 Dr. Howard Kaplan passed away at the age of 48 years. Howard will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna; his children, Meghan, Brendan and Carly. He will also be dearly missed by his sister Carole (Joel) Grad; nephews, Michael and Jeffrey of Toronto; brother-in-law Hartley (Karen) Fox; nephew Connor; and mother-in-law Sally Fox, all of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his father Morris, mother Sally and father-in-law Isaac. Howard will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Howard was a warm hearted person who often cared more for others than for himself. He was extremely intelligent and had a strength of character that carried him through trying times. He was an avid supporter of the Nomads football team which his son Brendan plays for. Howard earned a Ph.D in Biochemistry at the University of Manitoba, than furthered his studies in Houston, TX at MD Anderson Hospital, in Winnipeg he was employed by Viventia Biotech. A graveside service was held on September 12, at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital.
