CATHERINE MARIE DUPONT (nee VINCENT) Unexpectedly, on Sunday, September 9, 2001, Mmme Catherine Marie Dupont passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Eva, Rachelle and her son Alexander; sons Claude (Laurel) and their daughters Melanie and Andree; Roland (Laura) and sons Domenic and Nicolas. She leaves her sisters Madeleine Laurin and Therese (Louis) Jeanson; brother Raphael (Irene) Vincent; sisters-in-law Jeanne Vincent and Merissa Vincent. She also leaves to mourn long time friends Melba Trew, Laura Stott, Norma Whitfield as well as special friends in Florida and the Brish Isles. Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Antonio (1991), and her brothers Louis, Josephat, Johnny, Gabriel and Armand. Catherine began her teaching career in a one-room school in Piney, Manitoba. The career she loved spanned many years. She had many fond memories of her years at Lord Wolseley School and when she retired she maintained contact with her dear friends there. After retirement, she fulfilled her life long dream to travel, developing many new friendships. She played many roles to her family and friends. She was the best mother, grand-mere, sister, mother-in-law, friend and teacher. Her joy of life, her accepting gentle manner touched all who knew her. You will be missed. Donations in Catherines memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13 at the St. Boniface Cathedral.
