DOROTHEA E. (DOROTHY) HALLSON On Sunday, September 9, 2001 surrounded by her family, Dorothea Hallson died peacefully in Central Park Lodge, 70 Poseidon Bay at the age of 77 years. Dorothea is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. Hallson; daughters, Aldis Hallson (William Leach) (Brandur and Thorin) of Calgary, Hilary Hallson (Ian Wilson) of Winnipeg; son Paul Hallson of Toronto, sister, Irma Maynes (Samuel) of Winnipeg; and brother Harold Koss (Emily) of White Rock, BC. After suffering a stroke in December 1998, Dorothea worked bravely to overcome her difficulties. Though the last two years of her life were challenging, she shared many moments of joy with her family, friends and the staff at Central Park Lodge. She will be missed by all her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
